St-Jean est l’un des villages les plus pittoresques de la vallée et fait partie du domaine skiable de Grimentz-St-Jean qui est doté de 45 km de pistes culminant à 2900 mètres et qui atteindra 90 km dès 2013 grâce à la liaison par téléphérique avec le réputé domaine de Zinal). Le vieux village respire le charme authentique des villages anniviards. Quelques minutes en voiture suffisent pour rejoindre l’une des 4 autres stations de la vallée : Zinal, Saint-Luc, Chandolin et Vercorin. Sierre est à 20 minutes et Sion à 30 minutes.

Le chalet Le Refuge se situera tout proche de l'arrivée de la piste de ski qui relie le domaine skiable de Grimentz au village de St-Jean. Avec une vue magnifique sur la couronne Impériale et une situation idéale, calme et cadre verdoyant.

Rebuilding of a barn into a 4.5 room chalet in St-Jean

In the Val d'Anniviers, often described as the most gorgeous valley of the Pennine Alps. Between the Matterhorn and Verbier, this valley enjoys the longest ski seasons and best sunshine records in the region.

St-Jean is one of the most picturesque villages of the valley and is part of the reputed Grimentz/St-Jean ski resort ( 45 km of pistes culminating at 2900 meters, to reach 90 km in 2013 thanks to the new junction with the reputed resort of Zinal ), with breathtaking views that span accross the splendid alpine nature and the 4000-plus metre peaks of the "Imperial Crown". The high altitude resorts of Zinal, Saint-Luc, Chandolin and Vercorin are only minutes away. The cities of Sierre and Sion are nearby and a direct railway schedule links Geneva and Zurich airports to Sierre.

The chalet Le Refuge is located near the arrival of the Grimentz-to-St-Jean ski piste. In the winter, a free shuttle brings winter sports fans to the ski-lift in Grimentz.
